Most of the people in the world knew Malaysia as an Islam country. All Muslims out there try to search the best place to practice Islam with complete way, most of them would say I want to go to Malaysia.
Alhamdulillah, I'm born and raised in Malaysia. Definitely thank you Allah because give me the opportunity to become a Muslim as I'm born. As I went to a great event last week, which open my eyes that there are plenty of Muslim out there hardly to be a Muslim because of the restriction and regulation in their country. For example, to cover their aurah for Muslimah and we call it hijab or tudung in Malaysia.
Wearing hijab is a must for Muslim women to cover their aurah. In West, most of them eager to wear the hijab even though there is discrimination when the Muslimah are wearing it. In the East, there are different story, because they used with hijab so they thought the it is ok whenever you wear it or not, because it is like a culture to wear it.
The speaker's word always come to my mind the West want to be like the East... And I continue with myself saying that BUT, the East wants to be like the West. Astaghfirullahalazim!!!
WHY??
Why would this happen to us here? They thought that this is a culture and because they not learn about why Allah would ask all the Muslim women to wear hijab??
I do think that they not learn from the Quran and try to understand what Allah had written to us in the Quran. The lack of mind setting about aurah and hijab, because you born with Islam so you will never know how beautiful and peaceful about life and live as a Muslim.
Allah commands the Prophet to address the women:
قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَ يَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوْجَهُنَّ...“Say to the believing women that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste)…”
My beloved sisters out there,
Alhamdulillah, two years back there are small amount of people wearing 'proper' hijab in Malaysia, but now it keeps growing as there are more local celebrities starts to wear hijab and become more inspiring to every Muslimah in Malaysia. This is a good change, great changes!
More and more new way of wearing hijab with many types of hijab some call it shawl, pashmina, bawal, and many more! But, the issue now is it necessary to be too fashionable about hijab? Is is necessary to put too much color on your hijab?
For me it is too much. Sometimes the color is just too bright and from far away the people can see you and this in Arabic called it tabrruj which means it is show off your beauty or displaying beautification.
Just enough follow the latest fashion with simple way and not too much. Make it simple and beautiful as ISLAM.
